PTU Service Relocation Kit for 2011-2019 Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor
This kit is designed for 2011-2019 Ford Explorers and 2013-2019 Police Interceptors.
This kit installs a service access point where the vehicles PTU (Power Transfer Unit) can be refilled with fluid. Ford initially planned on PTU fluid being a "lifetime" fluid, however time has shown that failure to service your PTU can lead to catastrophic failures and expensive repairs.
This kit attaches to the existing vent hose coming out of the top of the PTU. It acts as an extension to an accessible location which enables the user to refill the PTU using the vent hose.
Included in this kit:
- Fill hose mount panel
- Pre-cut to length fill hose
- Hose barb
- PTU hose cap with integrated vent
- Mounting clip
Funnel not included.
Option to buy the mount panel only is available.
Included hose is automotive-grade oil cooler hose. Some kit components are 3D printed from carbon fiber-reinforced polycarbonate.
