These pigtail connectors are the male-end that match the Interceptor equipped 6-way and 14-way connectors. These fit the following:

  • 2011-2026 Police Interceptor Utility
  • 2013-2019 Police Interceptor Sedan

These connectors do not have the terminal numbers stamped on the connector. Refer to the stamped terminal number on the OEM female connector as a terminal pin-out reference.

6-Way Connector

  • 12 AWG on all terminals

14-Way Connector

  • 16 AWG on terminals 1, 7, 8, 14
  • 20 AWG on terminals 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13

VERY snug fit!

The connector is well-made, appears really close to OEM in quality, and the wires on the backside are a nice length to accommodate any mistakes in adding connectors. While I love the connector, there are two drawbacks:

-The first one (worst one) is that the connector does connect snugly, but it is hard to connect and disconnect. To connect the connector, I had to press with all my strength to get it to seat and lock into place. Disconnecting it was a fun challenge, as I had to (somehow) grip it and pull with ALL OF MY STRENGTH (not exaggerating) to get it to come apart again. I definitely will be installing a different way to isolate circuits or see if I can add a lubricant in some way so it doesn't bind as much, instead of trying to do that every time I need to disconnect my equipment.
-The second one is way less significant, but all six wires have black-colored insulation. It would be a benefit to customers if the positive wires were red and the ground wires were black, as the user can take the connector elsewhere to wire and know positive versus ground. That one is just a design consideration, not a big deal.

Hi there! For easier removal we recommend first pushing the connector in, and then depressing the tab and pulling back.

Also we do have our next iteration in production which does feature colored wiring for easier wiring. Thank you for your purchase!
